The PossibiliTEAMS Blog

I’m Mike Mulvihill, owner of PossibiliTEAMS, a corporate team building and innovative workplace training company based in Phoenix.  I’ve been a facilitator in the team building and training industry for the past sixteen years.  Along the way, I’ve had the pleasure of working with hundreds of teams from the corporate world, the nonprofit sector, government agencies, universities and other educational institutions.  Over the years, I’ve seen great teams in action, as well as struggling teams desperate for change.

In my role as facilitator, I spend most of my time observing.  Sure, I’ll spend a few minutes before starting an activity to explain the objective and rules of the game, and I’ll take some time after the activity to facilitate the follow-up discussion. But in the meantime, I observe.  And you know what?  It never gets old.  What I love most about my job is watching people work together . . . to see leaders emerge . . . to see the “quiet” person on the team step it up and take an active role in the group . . . to watch teams brainstorm and solve problems together and deal with conflict and interpersonal stuff.  The list goes on and on.  And after sixteen years of running team building games (some of which I’ve run thousands of times in my career), I can tell you I truly love what I do.
